Hello, and welcome back to another funktastic, musical magic media drop blog!
Yesterday was one of our most productive days to date with Conor and JSD creating a brand new exclusive beat for the "media drop collective".... the rest of the team were hard at work writing some serious "bars" (no mum, we've not been going to the pub for a pint..... that means song lyrics in the world of MC's).
Cherelle (one of our resident singers here at media drop) also stepped outside of her comfort zone yesterday and tried out her very first rap!!!! She was a bit reluctant to give it a go at first as she's never recorded a rap before but after showing a few of the guys she decided to go for it..... and how glad we were! This girl can spit FIRE like a chip fryer!!!! Lyrics, flow and delivery ON POINT!
Christian also stepped up, in his usual swagged out, laid back style and the results were sick!
Today is all about finishing off the tracks from last week and yesterday... we have lots of recording and mixing to do, and lots of creating, writing and artist development too. We will be looking at PRS and how it works and also discussing the benifits of the YouTube channel, blog and soundcloud.
